About Us
Welcome to Stop the Stigma, a movement dedicated to breaking the silence and challenging the misconceptions surrounding mental health.
My name is Chris Martin, and I am the eldest of five children to Flo Hudson. My journey toward mental health advocacy began with a personal loss—my beloved mother, who struggled with the stigma surrounding mental health throughout her life. Her experience opened my eyes to the urgent need for change and the importance of fostering a world where seeking help is seen as a strength, not a weakness.
At Stop the Stigma, we believe that awareness, education, and empathy can dismantle the barriers preventing individuals from seeking the support they need. Through community initiatives, open conversations, and shared stories, we strive to create an environment where mental health is prioritized, and no one feels alone in their struggles.
Our mission is simple yet powerful: to cultivate a society built on compassion, understanding, and action. By working together, we can eliminate the negative stigma surrounding mental health and replace it with hope, support, and empowerment.
Join us in our efforts to make a difference. Let’s stand united, speak up, and create a future where mental well-being is embraced and respected by all.
Together, we can Stop the Stigma.

Meet Our Volunteer Team

As a lifelong resident of Logansport, I’ve had the pleasure of working in various roles, gaining diverse perspectives within our community. As a single mother, I’m familiar with the resources our town has to offer. In my role as president of the Cass County Mental Health Initiative, I’ve been instrumental in organizing events such as ‘Tee Off the Stigma,’ Renapalooza, and the Stop Suicide Walk. I bring a unique blend of organizational skills, efficiency, creativity, and open-mindedness to the table. Ultimately, I want to make a positive impact on our community, and help to break the stigma surrounding mental health.

I’m just a woman doing her best at being the best wife, mom, and person she can be. Spreading love in the world that truly needs it, and using the gifts and talents God blessed me with in the best way possible.
