Safe Space for Everyone!

Helping Today. Helping Tomorrow.

My name is Chris Martin, and I am the eldest of five children to Flo Hudson. My mother was a remarkable woman who faced many challenges, including the stigma surrounding mental health. Her struggle and the profound loss I experienced inspired me to take action. I created this initiative in honor of her legacy, with the goal of fostering a world where mental health is treated with the same openness and importance as physical health.

Your Questions, Answered

How can I contribute if I don’t have time to volunteer?

Even if you can’t volunteer, you can support our mission by spreading awareness, sharing our content, making a donation, or simply being an advocate for mental health in your daily conversations. Every effort counts!

Is Stop the Stigma only for people struggling with mental health issues?

No, our movement is for everyone! Whether you’re someone facing mental health challenges, a supporter, or just passionate about breaking the stigma, you’re welcome to be a part of our community.

Does Stop the Stigma provide professional mental health services?

While we don’t offer direct mental health services, we provide resources, guidance, and connections to trusted professionals who can help. Our goal is to create awareness and ensure everyone knows where to seek support.

How can I talk to someone who is struggling with mental health issues?

The best way to support someone is by listening without judgment, offering encouragement, and reminding them that they are not alone. Encouraging them to seek professional help is also a vital step.

Can I organize an event or fundraiser to support Stop the Stigma?

Absolutely! We encourage individuals and organizations to host events, fundraisers, or awareness campaigns to support our cause. Reach out to us, and we’d be happy to collaborate or provide guidance on how to get started.
